Cheops-Elektronik Entwicklungs-und Fertigungsgesellschaft has developed from the company STE OHG which was founded in 1978. The company was renamed in 1991 as a result of the withdrawal of a partner.

The object of the company has always been and is still today the development and production of electronic components and systems for OEM customers in Europe. Our motto „From the idea to the finished component“ is still applied.

In 1998, Cheops Malta Ltd. was founded. The background of this was the price advantage as well as the professional qualification and the better coverage of the English and the Mediterranean area in the future. Since 2001 Cheops has been developing own products in the field of network technology, with emphasis on Embedded Webserver for automation.

In 2004 a cooperation agreement was concluded in this connection with the company ATOP, Taiwan. This enables us to cover standards by means of merchandise at favourable prices, as well as to realize customer-specific applications by our in-house know-how.

Since 2005, the company is entitled Cheops Elektronik Handels- und Fertigungs KG.
